Why is he always late?

Why does he always nitpick?

Why does he always promise things he can't deliver?

Why does he always demand this and that from me?

Why is he different when he's with me compared to when he's with others?

Each of us has a unique energy design. Our energy interacts with the environment and even with the energies of others. Sometimes, these interactions lead us to act in ways that don't align with our own energy. We call these interactions 'conditioning.'

Conditionings aren't inherently good or bad, and our reactions to them aren't either; they're just not us. Twins may have nearly identical conditionings, yet they may handle them entirely differently. The conditionings each person receives from the same environment vary, and how they manifest changes depending on the individuals. Human Design isn't a system for changing fate; it can't solve our problems or alter other people's perceptions. Sometimes, I feel Human Design even complicates life because it's an awareness system: awareness of our own energy, awareness of how others operate, awareness of how we constrain each other, awareness that our minds are conditioned, awareness that we can't control our energy with our minds, awareness of our powerlessness over mutual conditionings, awareness that the only thing we can do is become aware of how to free ourselves from these conditionings and truly experience life as ourselves, rather than living in pursuit of 'who I think I should be.'

After all, the hardest things to change in this world are other people's thoughts and beliefs. We can only become aware of experiencing ourselves.

GIVER Personality?

A psychology YouTuber I really like, Eric Zhang An, recently talked about GIVER, TAKER, and the Intermediate Personality. He mentioned that among the people he knows, the happiest and the unhappiest are often GIVER personalities. Moreover, many successful individuals are GIVER personalities, like Elon Musk. They're individuals who selflessly devote their energy to fulfilling others, but a GIVER needs to be strong enough to use themselves for the right people and causes.

However, even though I consciously know that I sometimes have a GIVER personality and sometimes a TAKER personality, in the past, I struggled with what to do even when I knew. If I don't use my talents to help certain people, am I not fully utilizing myself? When should I listen to others' opinions and when should I follow my intuition? How do I make the right decision in each moment? How do I distinguish between intuition and the voice of my mind?

Firstly, I strongly agree with Eric's point. Indeed, before I discovered Human Design, I would resort to tools like astrology or MBTI to seek awareness. While these tools have their uses, for a long time, I was searching for a system that could tell me how my energy interacts with the energy of the universe, a system that could guide my decision-making, and a system that wouldn't oversimplify 'humanity,' and these three aspects should integrate seamlessly.

In the end, the universe led me to Human Design. Gratitude to the universe: Seek, and you shall find."

Universal Gravity

Since childhood, I've been deeply passionate about understanding myself. Whether it's psychological tests, astrology, Chinese horoscopes, numerology, or Feng Shui, I've explored them all without exception. I believe in universal gravity; humans are just one piece of the puzzle in the universe, and I firmly believe we're connected to everything. I used to lean towards studying astrology and Chinese horoscopes because it seemed like these two tools explained how people are influenced by environmental energies. However, I had many questions that these tools couldn't answer, so I've always viewed them as pathways to self-awareness. Simply put, if they provide insight, great; if not, it's still a process of self-discovery with no loss.

I've never found it strange to use tools to understand myself; I've just been puzzled about why these tools can tell me when I might have good luck or opportunities but not how to make decisions to seize those opportunities.

Why do all people, including myself, behave differently when alone compared to being with one or many others?

I know everyone has an energy field, but how do we influence each other?

Why can twins have such different destinies and personalities yet nearly identical talents? (There's research using musical talent as a parameter that found even twins raised in different environments, if one excels in music, the other will achieve similar success in music.)

How can I make decisions that are most in line with nature?

Should I listen to my mind or my intuition?

How do I distinguish between intuition and my mind's voice?

How can I maximize my talents to seize every opportunity that belongs to me?

Well, let's explore our designs together.

Human Design seems complex, but what is it?

For me, Human Design is the only system that can explain all these questions, and it's a complex system that doesn't attempt to simplify anyone's energy at any level because each of us is inherently complex. At a personal level, Human Design is like an instruction manual for each person, describing our talents and even how our minds might resist our own design.

I used to ignore my design out of fear of the future:

  • If I don't do this or that, maybe I won't have food to eat in the future?

  • If I don't be with this person, maybe I won't have anyone to take care of me in the future?

  • I feel guilty for not doing this or that today; I should be productive, without productivity, I don't know where my value lies.

  • If I don't do something, will my abilities go unnoticed?

  • Am I not valued because I haven't done this or that?

Yes, I've faced and still face these questions every day. But with 'awareness,' I started to recognize when my mind was conditioning me and resisting my energy. But don't misunderstand; it's not that our minds are against us or anyone else. The core value of Human Design is that nothing is inherently good or bad; the question is whether it's authentic to 'you.' You can completely follow your mind and ignore your design, but that's not 'you.'

The core idea of Human Design is that we think we're driving the "car of life," but we're actually just passengers in the back seat; our design does its thing naturally. Some are born with an instinct to sense danger, but our minds always have opinions; some are naturally good at certain things, but our minds always have opinions; some naturally feel others' energy, but our minds always have opinions.

We live in a three-dimensional world of duality; there's always 'this' and 'that,' and we have 'this' but often long for 'that.'

We suffer because we don't accept.

In the Human Design system, the role of our mind is to guide others, not to solve our own problems. So any talent our mind possesses is a gift to others but a curse to ourselves.

So, how should we use our design?
