Days spent studying in the UK were rather dull, unlike the vibrant and colorful ones in Hong Kong. At that time, many campus ghost stories were circulating among the dormitories, along with various methods of creating the "Ouija Board". We attempted several times in our dormitory, some of which were peculiar, some were not in English, and some classmates encountered more malevolent ones that constantly urged them to harm others. Fortunately, in my two deeper conversations, the encounters were relatively peaceful and accurate fortune-telling was performed, predicting my first boyfriend's name, the time we would meet, which university I would attend, and which subject I would study. However, it was the second conversation that made me firmly believe that the soul does exist, and it led me to believe that one day, we too will exist in this form.

At that time, we had a conversation with one of the "Immortals" as follows (due to the passage of time, we could only record as much as possible. The paper of the "Ouija Board" had 26 English letters and numbers, and three options: yes, no, or maybe. Often, the answers were relatively quick, especially for yes or no questions):

(There were three of us operating at the time: me (L), my friend K, and my friend S)

Me: What is your name?

Her: Emily.

Me: How old are you?

Her: 6.

Me: Are there gods in this world?

Her: Maybe.

Me: Can't you tell us?

Her: No.

Me: Are souls ranked?

Her: Yes.

Me: How many levels are there?

Her: 7.

Me: What level are you?

Her: 3.

Me: The higher the level, the greater the magical power, right?

Her: Yes.

Friend S: Can you tell me something from further back?

Her: 5 years.

Me: So, the more pure the soul, the higher the level?

Her: No.

Me: What makes a soul's level high?

Her: Mind.

Me: So, regardless of whether it's good or evil, as long as the thinking is strong, it's stronger?

Her: Yes.

Friend K: Do we have levels too?

Her: Yes.

Friend K: Who among us is the highest level?

Her: L.

Me: Will you get tired talking to us?

Her: Yes.

Me: Do you want to talk to us?

Her: Maybe.

Me: Will we hurt each other by talking?

Her: Yes.

Me: Then let's consider this our last conversation. If possible, can I see you once in my dreams?

Her: Okay.

Afterwards, we chatted briefly. At the time, my family was facing some financial problems, and it was uncertain whether I could complete A-levels in the UK. I was also conflicted about whether to study media at Baptist University or Chinese University, which seemed to be more related to my ideals, or to study accounting and finance at the University of Hong Kong, which was more comprehensive but more difficult to enter. Emily told us clearly which university she would attend and what course we would take, which greatly reassured us as we were only in the first semester of Form 6 at the time. That night, I dreamt of flying in the sky and seeing a steam train passing by. Then I entered a small church, where a little girl sitting next to me handed me a Bible, and we sang hymns together.

Of course, many people and sources have confirmed that our experience was extremely lucky but not encouraged. Emily made it clear that we would hurt each other, and it was extremely dangerous for both sides to make contact without knowing anything. Therefore, after that time, I have not encountered such things again. However, I still want to record my encounter with Emily.
